Rachael Weaver
Psychologist

Rachael is a registered psychologist who completed her Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) at the University of the Sunshine Coast. Rachael is also a Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician (CEDC), and a member of ANZAED, the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPI). Rachael has an empathetic, non-judgmental, and easy-going approach where clients can feel comfortable and safe while working towards their treatment goals.

Rachael has experience working with people across the lifespan and from diverse backgrounds. She particularly enjoys working with adolescents and adults who are experiencing anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, grief and loss, self-harm, eating and body image issues, and adjustment difficulties. Rachael is also experienced in providing services to participants of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) who are self-managed or plan-managed.

Rachael draws from a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Enhanced Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT-E), Family-Based Therapy for Eating Disorders (FBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT). Rachael is a neurodiversity-affirming psychologist who aims to incorporate evidence-based treatments while supporting the person to lead an authentic life.
