Psychologist

Crystal is a registered Psychologist and Clinical Psychology Registrar with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. She has completed a Master of Psychology (Clinical) and a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and is working towards her clinical endorsement. She has experience working in both private and public settings including in public health and outpatient settings, as well as in community centres, and primary schools.

Crystal enjoys working with people across the lifespan who may be experiencing a broad range of presenting concerns, but has a particular interest in anxiety disorders and women’s mental health. She also has a particular interest and experience in cognitive assessment and in education and learning assessments, including the assessment and diagnosis of Specific Learning Disorders and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder in children, adolescents, adults, and older adults.

Crystal practices an evidence-based approach to psychological treatment and works primarily from a Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) framework to develop comprehensive formulations and tailored treatment plans. She values a flexible and eclectic approach to therapy and incorporates other therapy modalities into her practice, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Metacognitive Therapy (MCT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Crystal values a grounded, authentic, and collaborative therapeutic relationship with clients to ensure they feel supported and empowered in their therapeutic journey.
