Mariana completed her Masters of Clinical Psychology at the Australian College of Applied Psychology, in Sydney, and her Bachelor of Psychology in Brazil. She has worked in both private practice and hospital settings, assisting teens and adults with issues including low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, adjustment/life transition difficulties, and childhood trauma.
Mariana provides a nurturing, open and non-judgemental therapeutic relationship, ensuring clients feel welcome and comfortable. She is passionate about helping clients develop self-awareness and emotion regulation skills so they can enjoy better relationships with themselves and others. She utilises evidence-based strategies from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Schema Therapy, tailoring treatment to client’s individual needs.
Mariana is bilingual and can provide therapy in Brazilian Portuguese.
