Renee Curran
Dietitian

Renee is a credentialed eating disorder dietitian who is passionate about supporting clients to reject diet culture and to accept and embrace their own bodies. She has worked across a range of settings including hospital health services, private practice and community programs. Renee is known for her ability to easily build rapport with clients through her non-judgemental approach and her empathetic and supportive nature. She firmly believes that recovery from eating disorders is possible for everyone, and continues to hold this hope and belief, even when clients cannot see it for themselves.

Renee is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy- Enhanced (CBT-E), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy – Motivational (CBT-M), Family Based Therapy (FBT) , the Non-Diet Approach for Dietitians – Health at Every Size (HAES), Health and Wellness Coaching, Motivational Interviewing and Trauma Informed Care. She works collaboratively with her colleagues at Anxiety House, complimenting a wide range of other treatment modalities.

Renee works with adults and adolescents experiencing Atypical Anorexia Nervosa, Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, Other Specified Feeding and Eating Disorders, Orthorexia and Disordered Eating and provides consultations for optimising nutrition for general mental health and wellbeing.
