Amber is the Clinical Director at Anxiety House Sunshine Coast, and a Clinical Psychologist. Throughout her fourteen year career as a psychologist, Amber has worked across a range of services, including public health services in New Zealand, as well as private practice settings in Australia. Amber is known for her authentic, down-to-earth style, non-judgmental attitude and compassion for her clients.

Amber develops collaborative, individualised treatment plans for her clients, drawing from a range of treatment modalities. Amber is passionate about clients developing a thorough understanding of themselves, including exploring the role of how past experiences may influence current difficulties as well as exploration of parts of self. Amber is experienced in a wide range of treatment modalities and draws mainly from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), Ego State Therapy, Schema Therapy, and Metacognitive Therapy (MCT).

Amber works with teens and adults across all areas of anxiety, eating and obsessive compulsive disorders. She has special interests in working with trauma, PTSD, binge-eating, health anxiety, panic, OCD, excessive worry, performance anxiety, dissociation, and postnatal mental health.
