Kyla is provisional psychologist completing her final placement for the Master of Psychology (Clinical) at the University of New England. Whilst Kyla is originally from South Africa, Kyla completed her undergraduate at locally at UniSC and has worked in both private and public sector.

Kyla works predominantly with children and adolescents aged 0-18.Kyla has experience working with depression, anxiety, neurodevelopmental delays, autism, anxiety, and gender diverse populations across the lifespan.

Kyla has a background in working with young people and their families to navigate emotional dysregulation and develop adaptive management strategies to reduce distress. Kyla is passionate about being person-centred, trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and evidence based.

Kyla works across Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and Family-based therapies.

    • Masters and/or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology
    • Eligible for registration with AHPRA as an endorsed “Clinical Psychologist” or eligibility for the clinical psychology registrar program
    • Eligible for Medicare registration
