David is an experienced Psychologist having practiced in both Australia and the UK for over 20 years. He has worked in a number of specialised settings including Chronic Health Conditions, Eating Disorders, Drug Rehabilitation Services, Prisons and Detention Centres, and Child and Adolescent Mental Health. David has experience in academic settings having worked for QUT, USC, Griffith and the University of Wolverhampton (UK). His research has investigated the therapeutic alliance, recovery from Anorexia Nervosa, and evidence-based criminal justice system diversion approaches and programs.
David enjoys working with adults across a wide range of presentations. David works collaboratively with clients to deliver tailored interventions and is passionate about overcoming barriers to engagement. David practices using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) underpinned by extensive training in Psychodynamic theory and it’s application in short-term therapeutic interventions. David supports both men and women with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, addictions and had a special interest in assisting clients adjust to major life changes such as the impact of health conditions.

Selection Criteria
- Masters and/or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology
- Eligible for registration with AHPRA as an endorsed “Clinical Psychologist” or eligibility for the clinical psychology registrar program
- Eligible for Medicare registration
