Here at Anxiety House, we strive for excellence in the treatment of and our accountability to our clients. We don’t just provide a service; we provide a service to the best of our abilities.

With your consent, we use short sets of questions to identify and create a collaborative plan of treatment to implement during therapy. Your psychologist will speak with you about the results of the questionnaires, ensuring that you're on the same page regarding the implementation of the treatment. Barring any indications of opting out on the following, we also evaluate the efficiency of the clinic and quality of care through the answers garnered from these questionnaires.

Below are the results from our 2017 data:

A considerable number of Anxiety House’s demographic sought treatment for Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD; 21%) and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD; 17%). Anxiety House also worked with numerous clients who self-reported suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD; 1%), Social Anxiety Disorder (7%), Illness Related Anxiety (2%), Panic Disorder (6%), and Specific Phobias (e.g., of confined spaces, vomiting; 3%). Several clients have also sought the clinic for therapy for adjusting to major stressors, such as workplace bullying, relationship breakdowns, and general stress (10%); and Skin Picking or Hair Pulling (1%). Our psychologists have also worked with a number of presenting issues that covers Sleep Disorders, Major Depression, Personality Disorders, Substance Use Disorders, Post-natal anxiety and depression, Perfectionism, Body Dysmorphic Disorders, and low self-esteem.

Anxiety House has also seen to a number of OCD subtypes, such as:

  • Intrusive thoughts of self-harm or hurting others
  • Fears of contamination
  • Unwanted lascivious thoughts or images
  • Checking compulsions
  • Hyper-awareness of bodily functions (Somatic)
  • Unwanted thoughts with moral or religious connotations (Religious)
  • Intrusive thoughts regarding intimate relationships (Relationship)

We at the clinic are proud of the rapport and treatment success we’ve achieved with our clients. As can be discerned from the graph, treatment at Anxiety house exhibits significantly lowered levels of distress overall among our clients, greatly improving their life satisfaction.
