This involves blaming oneself for the things that are out of an individual’s control. People think that they are to be blamed even if they are only partly to blame or not to blame at all. People with this kind of thinking believe that it’s their fault when something goes wrong.

Jumping to Conclusions

This is where an individual thinks that he/she knows what others are thinking and predicting the outcome of a specific situation. Most people feel like they know everything, and they’ll be able to anticipate the feelings, the actions, or an event without any evidence.

Emotional Reasoning

People with this kind of thought often believe that if they feel something, it might be right. They think it is true because they feel anxious and there is something to be feared in the situation.

These thoughts don’t always reflect reality and are sometimes caused by unexplained feelings.
