Nicholas is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and is currently completing the Clinical Registrar Program. He holds a Master of Psychology (Clinical) from the University of the Sunshine Coast, and a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) from the University of Southern Queensland. He has worked in both public and private settings including working with children and youth. Nicholas currently works across the lifespan, including children and adolescence. He uses a variety of evidence-based treatments, chiefly Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. Nicholas will often incorporate mindfulness approaches within his work, alongside providing psychological education regarding the how and why of the presenting difficulty. His areas of interest are complex trauma, anxiety, psychosis, depression, men’s psychological health, and drug and alcohol use.
